Live Camp Work’s Article How to Downsize Your Life to Hit the Road Full-Time had some great suggestions

  1. Downsizing your wardrobe
  2. Downsizing your paperwork
  3. Downsizing your Furniture
  4. A Note on Cleanliness

I guess you can say we have started on our paperwork. We’ve been going through our physical books and deciding what we want to keep. This is going to take many more purge attempts. Both Jenn and I are readers and where we might not have assigned a lot of semimetal value to objects that some would, we have some physical books that hold semimetal value.

Wanderlust by Daniel Steel

The Kissing Hand

A Pocket Full of Kisses

Dune by Herbert

A few cookbooks

A few knitting books

Book of witchery by Dugan

Book of Erotic Fantasy

Hand Reflexology

Skye O’Malley

Kishuel’s series

Edgar A. Poe’s complete works

and many more

I recently took a box down to our local bookstore that buys used books but I’ll have to do another sweep.

We are trying to keep our items to keep down to one tub that a friend will house for us.

The items that I know that are going in so far:

My father’s flag

Jenn and Kenneth’s wedding photo

A few of my Grandma’s professional photos

My 1st book shadow box

Those items will take up a good bit of the tub so we have to be thoughtful of what we will be storing and taking on the road.

In conclusion, downsizing doesn't mean compromising on the adventures and joy we share with our furry companions. By implementing practical tips like assessing your pet's needs, creating designated pet zones, optimizing vertical space, and utilizing smart storage solutions, you can create a cozy and functional environment for your pet, even in a smaller living space. Remember to prioritize routine and exercise to keep your pet happy and healthy. Embrace the possibilities of outdoor spaces and make the most of nearby parks and trails. Downsizing with pets is all about finding creative solutions and adapting to your unique circumstances. So, embark on this downsizing journey with confidence, knowing that small paws can lead to big adventures.
